This customization makes compounded injections for weight control an excellent choice for qualified patients thru personalized prescriptions. Discussed below are some of the compounded medications that may be prescribed to help you reach your long-term goals:

  • Compounded Weight Loss Shot – Unlike commercial versions, compounded weight loss shots may include different ingredients or additional components for specific prescription formulations or adjustments in dosages.
  • Compounded Peptide-Assisted Injection – Compounded peptide-assisted injections emerged as a vital solution for patients during national medication shortages and personalized prescriptions that align with an individual’s unique medical requirements.
  • Compounded Weight Medication – Compounded weight medications contains the active ingredient found in well-known medications, but is prepared in a compounding pharmacy for each individual’s prescriptive needs.
  • Compounded NAD+ – Compounding pharmacies specialize in creating personalized NAD+ formulations in injectable form to address diverse goals such as enhancing energy metabolism and promoting anti-aging benefits.
  • Compounded Lipo-B (MIC+B12) – Methionine acts as a fat burner and detoxifier, inositol aids in regulating fat metabolism, and choline promotes liver health to ensure balance between fat processing and storage.
  • Compounded GAC (glutamine, arginine, carnitine) – Compounded GAC injections are carefully prepared in precise concentrations by certified compounding pharmacies and designed to support metabolic health.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is DNA testing painful?

No, not at all. Saliva testing is simple and quick and can be completed in the center. A quick cheek swab and you are finished. Results from your test will be returned in a few days. Accurate DNA test results can furnish extensive detail into which foods might maximize your efforts as well as those to refrain from eating.

I know my recent weight gain is stress related. Do you have a program for me?

Yes we do. Our personalized weight loss programs are designed to meet your body's unique needs. Stress-related weight gain can have underlying causes, such as hormonal imbalances. You can download our "how-to pdf" on stress weight gain as well as our hormone imbalance checklist located on the RESOURCE page of the MRC website.

How old do you have to be to participate in prescription medical weight loss programs?

You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in any of our medical programs.

I've dieted on and off but always gain the weight back. How can MRC help?

Because many of our weight loss consultants have been in your shoes, they understand how frustrating gaining the weight back can be. That's why our programs are well rooted in providing you with the education and tools you need to transition to weight maintenance once your target weight is achieved.

Do I need to have commercial health insurance in order to participate in your medical weght loss programs?

Are you active but keep hitting a weight loss plateau?

Being physically active is important, but exercise is often misunderstood as it relates to losing weight. As long as you continue to consume sugary drinks, processed foods, and empty calories, your body will keep hitting plateaus. A more effective approach to permanent weight loss is to follow a personalized program that satisfies your body's unique needs.

Do you accept insurance for prescription weight loss?

At this time we are unable to process insurance through our offices. We do accept Flex Spending and HSA on applicable purchases of weight loss medications and products. Some carriers may also reimburse you for all or part of your medical program costs; this is a conversation best had with your carrier to see what they will cover. Our prescription medications are affordably priced so that the vast majority of individuals are able to afford their medication without the supplementation of insurance.

How do you take compounded medications?

Compounded medications like peptides are injected subcutaneously either into the stomach or thigh. We will provide detailed directions and work with you to make sure that you feel confident administering your medication prior to starting.
