How quickly can I get started on my medication?
While actual delivery time can vary, typically medications are filled and received about 1 week following your exam.
What do I need in order to qualify for medical weight loss?
You must be at least 18 years of age in order to participate in injectable weight loss programs at Metabolic Research Center. You must complete a health screening with our healthcare provider. A Weight Loss Specialist will meet with you to help determine which program(s) might be right for you, schedule your health screening, and answer any questions you may have about getting started on prescription weight loss with MRC.
I lose some and gain it back with more. Will your menu plan work for me?
Are you yo-yoing on your bathroom scales?
I don't have insurance. Can I still participate in medical weight loss programs at MRC?
Yes you can still participate. Insurance is not required in order to get started on a weight loss program with compounded GLP-1s. A doctor's referral is not required either.
How can I learn more about the weight loss diet programs offered at MRC?

What’s the difference between Tirzepatide and Semaglutide?
Tirzepatide and Semaglutide are different active ingredients used in GLP-1 medications. Both offer similar benefits and yield similar results. Currently, we prescribe compounded semaglutide through our medical weight loss centers. We do not prescribe compounded tirzepatide due to recent changes removing tirzepatide from the drug shortage list by the FDA.
