I gained weight after a hysterectomy. Does MRC have a program that's right for me?
Weight gain following a hysterectomy is common. Because our programs are customized for every "Body", we may recommend hormone testing or a DNA panel to help identify any hormonal disparities that may be contributing to your weight gain. Your menu plans and supplementation are personalized to support your unique needs.
Can I use my HSA or FSA account to pay for my prescription?
Yes, we are able to accept Flex Spending/HSA cards with a Visa, Mastercard, American Expressas, or Discover logo as payment on eligible medical weight loss purchases. Eligibility is determined by your carrier, not Metabolic Research Center.
How will I administer my weight loss medication?
Compounded weight injections are administered subcutaneosly either into your stomach or thigh. You will give yourself the injection at home using a small insulin needle. You will be provided with clear instructions and guidance on how to administer your weight loss medication. Your MRC Team is also available to answer any questions you may have before getting started or during your treatment.
Are MRC brand weight loss products better than other brands?
Will my prescription weight loss program make me feel tired and sluggish?
Fatigue can be a side effect of incretin mimetic medications. While not common, you may experience some sluggishness while taking your prescription weight loss medication. If you do experience tiredness, your MRC Team will have tools, resources, and tips to help you overcome any side effects.
I've lost weight. Now, what can I do about stubborn belly fat?
During your free consultation with a weight loss specialist, you will discuss your body's unique needs. MRC offers several low-carbohydrate diets that can be personalized to allow your body to attain a metabolic state of ketosis.

Our medications are prepared by licensed compounding pharmacists who follow strict quality standards and guidelines. We regularly inspect all of our compounding pharmacies for safety and adherence to all guidelines.
