I'm nervous to get started on a medical weight loss program.
A little nervousness is normal! Individuals choose prescription weight loss with Metabolic Research Center over other online options because we are more than just a prescription or a website. We are in person support with real humans to provide you with professional coaching, advice, and support throughout the duration of your journey to eliminate the guesswork of weight loss and help you achieve the results you seek.
When I lose the weight, am I on my own?
How do micronutrients differ from macronutrients?
Do I have to be diagnosed with diabetes or prediabetes to be approved for medical weight loss?
No you do not have to have a prexisting diabetes or prediabetes diagnosis in order to particpate in injectable weight programs at Metabolic Research Center. A licensed healthcare provider will conduct a comprehensive exam in order to determine your eligibility for participating in medical weight loss programs.
Do I need to have labs done through you or can I use my own?
In most cases, lab work is not required. Should our physician need to see your labs, they will let you know on an individual, case-by-case basis. If labs are needed, then you are welcome to provide your own from your primary healthcare provider, provided they are in date and include any required panels.
How many micronutrients does my body need?
Do you have MRC plans on pdf that I can download to learn more?
Yes we do. You can visit the RESOURCES page on our main website under the WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAMS menu to download our weight loss diet plans pdf as well as information about our workplace health promotion program.
Is medical weight loss safe?
You will receive a health screening prior to starting your prescription. Your prescription comes from a licensed pharmacist, and you’ll meet regularly with your team of MRC Coaches to monitor your progress throughout the duration of your program.
