Will your programs work for someone who is diabetic?
Yes, real food diets can help stabilize blood sugar levels. During your free consultation, you can discuss any medical issues, restrictions and medications that you're taking. MRC's registered dietitian can design a menu just for you. Moreover, a low-carb diet that eliminates processed foods, foods high in carbohydrates, and baked goods is ideal for those who need to avoid sugar-laden foods.
Are medications made in compounding pharmacies still safe?
Our medications are prepared by licensed compounding pharmacists who follow strict quality standards and guidelines. We regularly inspect all of our compounding pharmacies for safety and adherence to all guidelines.
What can I expect after I sign up for my medical weight loss program?
After you sign up for your program, you'll meet with your healthcare provider for a comprehensive health screen. Your prescription will ordered and delivered, in most cases, in about a week's time. Your MRC Team will provide you with instructions and supplies for administering your compounded medication, and you'll continue to meet with your MRC Team to monitor your progress and make adjustments as needed. You can expect great service and results through Metabolic Research Center.

What am I allowed to eat on a Metabolic Research Center diet?
How old do you have to be to participate in prescription medical weight loss programs?
You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in any of our medical programs.
Do you offer medical weight loss?
Yes, we offer both traditional (non medical) and medical weight loss programs. All of our programs include simple and structured menus and one on one coaching with a team of weight loss professionals. We offer free consultations to all individuals interested in learning more about our weight loss programs (medical and non-medical).
