Frequently Asked Questions

I want to wear normal sized clothes again. Do you have a program for me?

One of the reasons we offer a personalized approach to losing weight is to allow our clients an opportunity to set their own weight loss goals. Once you've met privately with your weight loss consultant, MRC will personalize a plan designed for your body's unique needs. New clothes are a great way to celebrate your weight loss success.

How will I administer my weight loss medication?

Compounded weight injections are administered subcutaneosly either into your stomach or thigh. You will give yourself the injection at home using a small insulin needle. You will be provided with clear instructions and guidance on how to administer your weight loss medication. Your MRC Team is also available to answer any questions you may have before getting started or during your treatment.

Are your medications on backorder?

At this time our medications are not on back order. We work with reputable partner pharmacies to ensure the medications for MRC Clients are available. Circumstances beyond our control do occur, but they are rare and will be communicated should they occur.

Are medications made in compounding pharmacies still safe?

Our medications are prepared by licensed compounding pharmacists who follow strict quality standards and guidelines. We regularly inspect all of our compounding pharmacies for safety and adherence to all guidelines.

I've undergone a pretty stressful situation in my life and gaining weight. Does Metabolic have a plan for me?

You've come to the right website. When stress is prolonged, cortisol levels start to seesaw, triggering blood sugar and insulin imbalances, food and sugar cravings, sleep disturbances, weight gain, and belly fat. MRC offers personalized weight loss plans coupled with exercise tips and achievable life style changes to help reduce stress and improve your coping skills. If you are ready to take the weight off, call Metabolic Research Center today.

How many micronutrients does my body need?

By analyzing the body's white blood cell, a lab technician can measure around 35 nutritional components including deficiencies of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. That's why your personalized weight loss program at MRC may include recommendations for supplements or nutraceuticals to support your dietary intake.

Do I have to be approved for medical weight loss?

Your health and safety is our highest priority here at Metabolic Research Center. A licensed medical professional will conduct a health screening to determine your eligibility for participation in medical weight loss programs.

What if I can't make it to center with any normal frequency?

That's not a problem. We've been helping clients lose weight for more than three decades. Our weight loss consultant can connect with you over the phone, using Skype, texting or email. Your success is our top priority, so you can ensure your weight loss program never misses a beat.
