There's no shortage of self-help gurus that contend anyone can easily adopt a new mindset and make major changes in their life. Unfortunately, it's not that easy, as beliefs are often deeply held. People mistakenly focus on all the external stuff related to the change they chosen to make in their life. Truth is they need to make a commitment to changing how they see everything in their life. Since positive affirmations operate at the level of conscious awareness, there can be undefined limiting beliefs, which never get addressed. Step one is to ask yourself what you want the end result to be, achieving this requires cultivating a growth mindset, such as:

  • Find Your Self Voice - Success starts with accepting the fact that your mindset needs an adjustment. Look inside your own thinking and follow these tips to start achieving your goals.

  • Change Your Results Now - Join groups online that are focused on personal growth. As your mindset starts to change, you will find it easier to connect with people who face similar challenges.
  • Invest in a Better You - Realize the only thing that can keep you from reaching your goals is for you to give up. Learn from your missteps, ignore the setbacks, and embrace your new mindset.

Don't worry about all the things you should have as habits. Instead, tool your habits towards your goals and those things that personally motivate you. It is important to understand that you are conditioned to think and operate within a to-do-list mindset that gives you a false sense of accomplishment and significance. When you choose to make a positive change in your life, your beliefs do not necessarily need to reflect your current reality, however, they do need to reflect something that is possible to achieve. If procrastination has been a problem, stop your old way of thinking, change your mindset, and let this be the time you finish what you start.
