  • Menstrual Irregularities - Rapid weight loss sometimes triggers hormonal changes that can throw your body out of whack and lead to mood swings, acne, depression, and menstrual irregularities, also known as amenorrhea.

Numerous medical studies indicate that being obese is not good for your health, so you need to stay within an acceptable range for your body mass index. It is prudent to seek the advice of a weight loss specialist who can help you achieve each goal. If it is really difficult for you to stick to counting calories to reduce your daily intake, speak with a weight loss consultant about following a schedule of intermittent fasting instead. This has proven very effective for individuals who are overweight.
