My overall health and self esteem were weighing on me (no pun intended). I’d tried several programs before and they had all turned out the same - either I didn’t see results or I’d gain back all of the weight I lost - and then some. Having nothing to lose (except the weight), I decided to give the program at Metabolic Research Center a try.

I was so pleased that the program was easy to follow. The steady stream of new and helpful information from my Coaches made that possible. From day one, I knew that the staff was invested in my success, and they were consistently providing me with different tools and tactics to break the cycle of weight loss and weight regain. My success with keeping this lost weight off is thanks to the maintenance program that they started me on after I reached my goal. 

To date, I’ve lost 100 pounds! Losing this weight gave me the grace to gain only the right things back: my health, my energy, the luxury of sleeping without my CPAP. Maybe one of my favorite things, though, was being able to finally fill one of my bucket list wishes - running a 5k. Not only did I complete my first 5k, but I also took first place in my age group! Before MRC, even the through of pulling that off was too far to register. Put simply, this program has changed my life!

For those of you on your program or thinking about starting your program, here’s my advice: follow your program! Yes, it’s that simple. Ask questions. Because you deserve and will get answers. Instead of giving up, show up. The weigh-ins provide accountability. Meal prep is so helpful for being prepared and never feeling caught off guard without any healthy options. The same goes for the protein drinks - maximize them! For me, I told myself “I can do this” …and well, you can see the rest is history!
