Deconstructed BLT Dip
Another MRC masterpiece! And when friends come calling unexpectedly you can whip this up quick, fast and in a hurry! This offshoot of the classic BLT Sandwich is a bounty of creamy-crunchy perfection! It’s perfect for game day or any day and is sure to satisfy either as a snack or as an entire meal!
Ingredients
- 150 calories of uncured bacon, cooked & crumbled
- 2 oz. tomato, diced
- 2 oz. butter lettuce, diced
- 4-6 oz. plain nonfat Greek yogurt*
- 50 calories of Saltines, Melba Toast, or other plain crackers
- 4 oz. fresh vegetables, cut up for dipping
*Individuals following an MRC program: refer to your menu for exact protein portion guidelines. This recipe uses 1 serving Greek yogurt.
Directions
- Mix bacon, tomato, lettuce, and yogurt together in a bowl until well combined. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or until ready to serve.
- Serve with dippers of your choice (we recommend veggies!) and enjoy!
