Deconstructed BLT Dip

Recipe Image: Deconstructed BLT DipAnother MRC masterpiece! And when friends come calling unexpectedly you can whip this up quick, fast and in a hurry! This offshoot of the classic BLT Sandwich is a bounty of creamy-crunchy perfection! It’s perfect for game day or any day and is sure to satisfy either as a snack or as an entire meal!

Ingredients

  • 150 calories of uncured bacon, cooked & crumbled
  • 2 oz. tomato, diced
  • 2 oz. butter lettuce, diced
  • 4-6 oz. plain nonfat Greek yogurt*
  • 50 calories of Saltines, Melba Toast, or other plain crackers
  • 4 oz. fresh vegetables, cut up for dipping

*Individuals following an MRC program: refer to your menu for exact protein portion guidelines. This recipe uses 1 serving Greek yogurt.

Directions

  1. Mix bacon, tomato, lettuce, and yogurt together in a bowl until well combined. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or until ready to serve. 
  2. Serve with dippers of your choice (we recommend veggies!) and enjoy!
