
Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Looking for a tasty treat to satisfy those pesky sweet cravings? Look no further! Introducing the MRC take on the classic Chocolate Covered Strawberries. We took the typical high sugar & high fat alternative and created something your taste-buds will look forward to while keeping you on track towards your weight loss goals!
This recipe is so simple yet so decadent. With two ingredients, oh we’re sorry, THREE (including water), you will be able to whip up this delicious dessert. The chocolate coating can be made from either the Creamy Hot Cocoa HNS or the Double Chocolate Pudding HNS. Feeling a little crazy? Mix the two for a rich and flavorful coating for your strawberries!
Want to switch it up from strawberries? You absolutely can! Give yourself versatility by coating blueberries or raspberries instead! Depending on your menu, you can even incorporate your healthy fat serving & use almonds. Yum! We are getting hungry just talking about it!
For our recipe today, we let our strawberries sit for bit after coating to let the chocolate harden up a little. But you can also choose to make up your chocolate and use as an instant dip for you fruit, requiring almost zero prep time!
Ingredients:
- 1 pkg Creamy Hot Cocoa supplement or Double Chocolate Pudding supplement (OR ½ of both)
- ¾ c Strawberries
- Water
Instructions:
- Mix Hot Cocoa or Double Chocolate Pudding supplement with enough water to make a thick sauce in a bowl.
- Dip each strawberry in the chocolate mixture to coat.
- Place each dipped strawberry on parchment paper
- Pour over any remaining chocolate onto the strawberries.
- Place the chocolate covered strawberries in freezer for 20 minutes to help the chocolate harden then transfer to fridge.
