Breakfast arguably is the most important meal of the day. Studies show that a healthy breakfast each day assures a more nutritionally complete diet that's higher in nutrients, vitamins and minerals; boosts concentration and performance on the job; improves physical activity; and lowers cholesterol levels.   2. Raspberries: ?In one study, researchers found that increasing fiber intake by 8 grams for every 1,000 calories resulted in about 4.5 pounds of weight lost. That's because fiber helps to keep you feeling full and less likely to overeat throughout the day. And one cup of fresh raspberries packs eight grams of fiber.

  3. Oatmeal: Not only is it packed with fiber, it's also made with slow-release carbohydrates, which won't spike blood sugar as high as refined carbs. Eat a bowl three hours before exercising to burn more fat.

  4. Yogurt: It's a top source of protein, which can help you feel fuller and get leaner.
