Morning Routine

Start your morning right has never been more important, than while you are on your weight loss journey. Many people rush through their morning routine due to hitting the snooze button one too many times. We have put together four tips to aid in your early morning weight loss journey.

 

  1. Good Morning Sunshine: As soon as you wake up, open your curtains or blinds and let the sunshine in. This will brighten up your mood and the rays will help sync-up your internal body clock so that your metabolism kicks in early and aids your sleep schedule.

  2. Protein + Carbohydrates = Breakfast: The best weight blasting breakfast is a perfect combination of protein and carbohydrates. You will feel fuller longer and have extra energy to tackle the day.

  3. Work out: If you are not a morning person, then you are probably cringing at the thought of working out in the morning. We understand, but this might just convince you to give it a try. A short, simple work out in the morning will kick start your metabolism and give you more energy. Just 20 to 30 minutes of walking and stretching will do the trick.

  4. Water: Eating a balanced breakfast will help keep you full, but you need to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and flush out toxins. We recommend drinking at least 8 ounces of water as soon as you wake up in the morning. This will help get your body ready for a new day. And for added detoxification, add a couple slices of lemon.
