First, it is harder to fail when others are watching. Second, it helps to talk about the struggles you are facing. If you are hungry all of the time, or not feeling motivated to exercise, a friend can help. Plan to:
- Make walking dates as these are harder to skip than if you just walk alone.
- Share recipe ideas so that you have plenty of healthy snacks around when you are craving something naughty.
- Celebrate your successes with smart adventures like shopping for a new pair of walking shoes.
- Make your weight loss a social adventure by including your family and friends in the process.
