No, you do not need to have commercial health insurance in order to participate in prescription weight loss with Metabolic Research Center. A referral is not required either.
Should I consider a ketogenic diet for losing weight?
Is it safe for me to do another round of prescription weight loss after the first?
Many individuals taking prescription weight loss go right into their next round without a pause or waiting period. Your Weight Loss Specialist and/or healthcare provider will discuss options for continuing your compounded weight loss medication.
Will your office show me how to administer my medication?
Yes, when you are provided with your weight loss medication you will also be provided with clear instructions on how to administer your prescription. Your MRC Team is available to answer any questions you may have.
Your medications don't cost as much as the ones through my doctor. Are they safe?
While the price of compounded medications is not as expensive as other options can be, our medications are still prepared by licensed compounding pharmacists who follow strict quality standards and guidelines for every prescription.
