Jedi Mind Tricks for Losing Weight

Rey Rising Jedi Warrior

Are you having a tough time managing your portions when you’re eating? Maybe you constantly feel hungry. The good news is that you can use a few Jedi mind tricks to trick your body and brain into thinking you feel satisfied while eating less food. Try these mind tricks to improve your weight loss results.

Trick #1 – Go With Smaller Dishes – Start using smaller plates and bowls. Many studies show that tricking your mind with smaller dishes is possible. When you use a smaller plate or bowl, it appears that you are having a larger portion of food. This tricks your brain into thinking you are eating more. You will feel full but you will be sticking with the smaller portion sizes you need to eat to lose weight.

Trick #2 – Start Matching Colors on the Table – When you set the table, go with dishes, tablecloths, and other accessories in all the same color. Studies have shown that this may help you eat less food, so it is definitely worth a try.

Trick #3 – Cut Up Food So It’s Smaller – Cut up the foods you eat into smaller pieces. For example, research shows that cutting up a bagel into four smaller pieces resulted in people eating less of the bagel. No matter what you are eating, cutting food into smaller pieces may help you consume fewer calories, which is a win when you’re working to lose a few pounds.

Trick #4 – Avoid Eating Distracted – Distracted eating allows you to rack up the calories without even realizing how much you are eating. Studies show that you consume significantly more food when you’re distracted, and you don’t even feel full. Pay attention to what you are eating and you’ll notice your body’s cues when you are really full.

This has been one of the most positive experiences of my life! I've tried every fad diet that has come and gone over the years and ended up gaining all of the weight I lost...plus some more! I had heard about MRC through a friend that had lost 20 pounds in about 2 weeks! I knew I had to check it out! I started in May 2016 and here it is October 2016 and I've lost a total of 73.5 pounds...So far!!! I praise MRC for the hard work and determination that they provide. If you are feeling hopeless go to MRC they are here to help and cheer you along the way!
