Nix the Negative Talk
Nourishing your mind is just as important as nourishing your body. Internal comments really do have an effect on your wellbeing. Next time you look in the mirror and your mind teeters towards thinking something less than extraordinary about yourself, we challenge you to pause. Observe what's happening and change course by simply not allowing your mind to go there.
Why? Because your emotional energy is much better spent focusing on the strong, positive aspects of yourself.
STOP COMPARING YOURSELF TO OTHERS
What matters is that you strive to be the best version of yourself. Focus on being present, living in the moment and doing your best right now.
What others accomplish can encourage you, but don't ever let it make you feel like you're not doing enough. Congratulate yourself for every step forward and never be hard on yourself for what you think you should have done better. This is your own, unique journey.
If you see someone else succeeding in a way you'd like to - the best way to empower yourself is to recognize the strength in them and let it inspire.
Are others saying negative things about themselves? Stop them right then and there. Instead, uplift them with a compliment. Encourage others to love themselves. Let's be there for each other; we're all in the same boat!
