12 oz. fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut in 1 inch pieces
2 oz. chopped green onion
2 oz. chopped tomato
2 Tbsp. Walden Farms Ranch Dressing
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
½ tsp. sea salt
½ pkg. chicken bouillon supplement
¾ tsp. minced fresh cilantro or parsley
¼ tsp. chili powder
6 drops Tabasco sauce
garlic powder

Cook asparagus until tender. Place drained asparagus in blender or food processor. Add onion and process until smooth. Mix the remaining ingredients in serving bowl. Stir in the asparagus mixture, blend well. Serve with raw vegetables for dipping.

8 oz. asaparagus, ends trimmed & cut into 1-inch pieces
1 tbsp. chili powder
½ tsp. garlic powder
¼ tsp. sea salt
8 oz. tilapia (or other white fish)
3 tsp. olive oil
3 tsp. lemon juice

Bring 1 inch of water to boil in a large saucepan. Put asparagus in a steamer basket, place in the pan, cover and steam until tender-crisp, about 4 minutes. Weigh out 4 oz. Transfer to a plate to cool.

Combine spices and dip fillets in mixture to coat. Heat oil in large non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Add the fish and cook 5-7 minutes, turning once. Add lemon juice, a pinch of salt and asparagus to the pan, cooking for 2 minutes until asparagus is warmed.

1 pkg. double chocolate pudding supplement
1 pkg. vanilla cream pudding supplement
8 oz. water
6 oz. cherry diet soda
5 ice cubes

Mix all ingredients, except cherry soda, in blender on high speed until smooth. Pour into chilled glass and pour cherry soda over top.

Servings: 2

Beginning: Meta-Slim Day 5-10
Meta-Slim Plus Day 1

Replaces: 1 creamy supplement

4 pkgs. chocolate shake supplement
2 cups low-fat cottage cheese (1% milkfat)
2 cups water
4 tsp. instant coffee, decaffeinated
2 pkgs. unflavored gelatin, dissolved in ½ cup water
8 pkgs. artificial sweetener
3 tbsp.  vanilla extract
1 pkg. frozen unsweetened raspberries

Mix all ingredients, except berries, in blender until smooth. Fold in berries. Chill.

Crust:
1 cup Melba toast
2 tsp. safflower oil
2 pkgs. artificial sweetener

Mix all ingredients for crust in blender. Press into bottom of 9 x 13 (or 8 x 8 for a thicker crust). Pour mousse on top and serve.

Servings: 4

Beginning:
Two Meal Plan Only, Meal: Breakfast

Replaces: 1 bread, 4 oz. protein, 1 creamy supplement, 1 fruit serving

2 cups low-fat cottage cheese (1% milkfat)
1 pkg. vanilla shake supplement
1 pkg. lemon supplement
2 pkgs. artificial sweetener
¼ tsp. cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
1 pkg. Knox unflavored gelatin
¼ cup hot water
2 Tbsp  lemon juice

Crust:
1 cup Melba toast
2 tsp. safflower oil
2 pkgs. artificial sweetener

Mix in blender and press in pie pan. Chill while mixing cake. Mix gelatin with hot water in blender on high. Add remaining ingredients and pour in crust. Chill before serving.

MetaSlim Plus Day 5, Meal: Breakfast
Two Meal Plan, Meal: Breakfast

Replaces:  4 oz. protein, 1 bread, ½ supplement

2 oz. Swiss cheese, shredded
8 fresh whole mushrooms
1 pkg. chicken bouillon supplement, dry

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Clean mushrooms and separate stems. Chop stems and mix with shredded cheese. Place mixture in caps and sprinkle with dry chicken bouillon and add a few drops of water. Spray lightly with Butter Flavor Pam and bake 5-10 minutes.

Two Meal Plan, Meal: Breakfast

Replaces:  4 oz. cooked vegetables, 1 supplement, and 2 oz. protein

4 oz. angel hair cabbage
2 oz. raw tomatoes, diced
1 oz. green bell pepper, diced
1 oz. green onion, chopped
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
1-2 packets splenda
1 tsp. chili powder
1 TBSP each: dried cilantro, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper

Mix ingredients together (best if refrigerated overnight).

Servings: 1

Beginning:
MetaSlim Day 11, Meal: Lunch or Dinner
MetaSlim Plus Day 1, Meal: Lunch or Dinner

Replaces: vegetables

2 oz. frozen spinach, thawed and drained
2 oz. frozen artichokes, thawed and drained
2 oz. romano cheese, shredded
2 tsp. MRC Mayo (cookbook pg. 6)
1 pkg. MRC Cream of Chicken Soup
¼ cup water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Place all ingredients in a small baking dish, sprinkle with chicken bouillon.  Cover tightly and bake 20 minutes.

Beginning:

MetaSlim Plus Day 1, Meal: Lunch or Dinner

Replaces:  4 oz. cooked vegetables, 1 supplement

4 oz. lean ground turkey
¼ cup each:  green peppers, green onion, mushrooms
1 pkg. tomato supplement dissolved in 6 oz. water
1 pkg. artificial sweetener

To taste:  chili powder, onion powder, and garlic powder
¼ cup diced tomatoes **

In a coated skillet, brown meat and drain.  Add peppers and onion and sauté.  Add remaining ingredients, except tomatoes, and simmer for 15 minutes.  Add tomatoes just before serving.

**Omit tomatoes and may be used on Meta Slim Day 5.

1 lb. ground round or turkey
½ cup chopped green onions
½ tsp. each: garlic powder; pepper
2 small green peppers
1 pkg. cream of tomato supplement
1 cup water
½ cup bean sprouts, optional

Combine meat, 1 tbsp. green onions, garlic powder and pepper.  Sauté in skillet.  Drain.  Cut peppers in half, remove seeds and fill with meat mixture.  Place in skillet, mix supplement with water, add remaining green onions and pour over peppers.  Cover and simmer for 25 minutes.
